The attitude and attire around Jackson Hole is very casual. It is customary to add 15-20% gratuity to the bill at full-service restaurants as a tip for the server.

The people are friendly and are not bothered by answering your questions, giving directions or recommending favorite eateries or night spots. Don't dress too fancy or your might stand out. The only restaurant requries a dinner jacket is the Jenny Lake dining room.

The pace in Jackson Hole may be slower than where you come from so remember you are on vacation, there’s no rush to do anything, and enjoy it while you can!
